* CLAUDIA CHAPLINE is showing the Texera Series of paintings at the Point Reyes Clinic, 3, 6th Street, Point Reyes, CA, February 7-March 26.

* RALPH HOLKER, CLAYTON THIEL and Tri Tran will be in three person show at 600 Townsend. Opening reception: Friday, February 18, 5 to 7pm at 600 Townsend Street.

* KATI CASIDA will exhibit seven medium-sized sculptures, painted aluminum in various colors, in a group exhibition, entitled The Look of Jazz, at the new Firehouse Art Center, Pleasanton, California, January 29 to February 23.

* CATHERINE MERRILL and Michael Ruiz are in a show entitled Clayful Shapes & Bodies of Art, works in clay and on paper. The Main Gallery, 1018 Main Street, Redwood City, CA. * PAMELA BLOTNER has created a gigantic sculpture of a life-size bronze Leatherback Turtle, La Tortuga, to be displayed in Costa Rica. The 500-pound, 7’ x 5’ x 3’ sculpture, a gift from the Cinco Hermanos Fund, will be installed near the entrance to Costa Rica’s Las Baulas National Park.

* CYNTHIA HANDEL will be showing new work at Lireille gallery, 3980 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, March 11 to April 23. Opening Reception: Friday, April 1, 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
